Video: Checkpoints to Monitor Movement of People and Vehicles
Police and National Security Service officers will carry out operations to monitor the movement of people and vehicles at established checkpoints. Individuals who violate the decisions of the authorities will be subject to legal liability. “In order to prevent the possible spread of the new coronavirus, based on the decision of the authorities, restrictions on the right to free movement of people throughout Armenia will continue until April 12. Starting from April 1 at 23:59, individuals going to work must also present a form filled out by their employer.
To prevent the spread of the virus, free movement of people has been limited both from the regions to the capital and vice versa, as well as between regions. To ensure compliance with these requirements, from April 1 at 14:00, police and National Security Service officers will conduct operations to monitor the movement of people and vehicles at established checkpoints. Individuals who violate the decisions of the authorities will be subject to legal liability,” the statement reads.
