There Are Blocked and Difficult to Traverse Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 4, at 14:20, there are blocked and difficult to traverse roads in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyai Pass is closed for freight vehicles and difficult to traverse for passenger cars.

The Sotk-Karabakh road is difficult to traverse, and it is passable for freight trucks only if chains are used.

On the Goris-Sisian road in the Syunik region, in the section known as "Zanger," there are patches of black ice on the roads in the Kotayk region as well.

Fog is present in various areas, including the Vardenyai Pass, Dilijan, Berd, and Noyemberyan in the Tavush region, as well as in the towns of Yeghvard and Abovyan in the Kotayk region.
