Expired Food Products Destroyed
Recently, a citizen reported to the hotline of the Food Safety Inspectorate that expired food products were being sold in several shops in the Nork Marash and Nor Hachn communities of Kotayk Province.
As a result of a supervisory visit by specialists from the Kotayk regional center of the Inspectorate, expired food products were discovered in the grocery store of Arpine Hayrapetyan located in Nor Hachn, including a "Large Holiday Strawberry Cake," pork fillet, strained yogurt, and "Bavarian" sausage. Additionally, in the pharmacy owned by Arpenik Vardanyan in the same community, expired products were also found including children’s food under the “Nestle” brand, "Humana" brand herbal tea with cumin, buckwheat porridge, and fruit puree under the “Hipp” brand, all of which had also expired.
The mentioned products were removed from sale and destroyed on-site.
