264 Individuals Fined for Violating Restrictions on Freedom of Movement Until 3 PM Today
The police continue to enforce the implementation of the ruling of the commandant regarding restrictions on individuals' freedom of movement to prevent the potential spread of the new coronavirus. From 9 AM to 3 PM on April 1st, administrative violation reports were filed against 264 individuals for breaching isolation or self-isolation rules, or other restrictions on freedom of movement.
Since the commandant's decision came into effect, up until 3 PM on April 1st, reports were filed against a total of 4,281 individuals—2,097 in the capital and 2,184 in the regions.
Between 9 AM and 3 PM on April 1st, traffic police discovered 103 vehicles in the republic that were carrying more than two passengers. Following the commandant's decision coming into effect, 2,858 vehicles were reported violating the restrictions. All individuals violating the decision were instructed to exit their vehicles.
We urge the population once again to strictly limit their outings from their residences and to leave only in cases of extreme necessity. We advise drivers to transport only one passenger, adhering to the requirements set by the commandant's decision.
