Spain Surpasses China in Total Coronavirus Cases

Spain has surpassed China in the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases. The number of confirmed cases in Spain stands at 85,195. According to the latest data, 5,085 new cases have been confirmed in just one day.

The mortality rate in Spain is also high, with 7,340 people having died due to the virus. More than 500 deaths have been registered in a single day.

In contrast, the total number of infections in China is 81,470, and the new cases reported have been minimal. The Chinese authorities have announced that the spread of the virus within the country has ceased.
