Operations of Shops on Vardanants Street Halted
The police continue to ensure the enforcement of restrictions on the free movement of individuals in order to prevent the possible spread of the new coronavirus. Following the government decision of March 16, 2020, regarding the declaration of a state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia, police recently discovered two construction material shops operating on Vardanants Street in Yerevan.
The operations of these construction material shops have been halted, and administrative proceedings have been initiated against their owners in accordance with Article 182.3, Clause 2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which addresses violations related to restrictions on certain types of economic activities during a state of emergency.
The police urge all economic operators whose activities are prohibited in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus to adhere to the requirements set forth in the decree.
