COVID-19 Cases in Czech Republic Exceed 2600, 13 Deaths Recorded
The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic has stated that the government will likely approach parliament to propose an extension of the current state of emergency, which is set to expire on April 11, for an additional 30 days.
In the Czech Republic, some restrictions on trade and certain services have been partially eased; however, residents are required to wear protective masks in all public places and on transport. Significant fines are anticipated for violations of this requirement.
As of today, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Czech Republic stands at approximately 2,690, with 13 fatalities recorded.
