China Announces End of Pandemic

The spread of the coronavirus infection in China has been successfully halted. This was announced by Mi Fen, the official representative of the State Commission of Health in China, according to РИА Новости.

“As of March 28, the confirmed cases of those infected with the virus are less than 3,000,” said Fen. According to the latest data, 31,920 people have died worldwide due to the COVID-19 related illness, and 680,696 have been infected.

Moreover, an increase in 'imported' cases of the coronavirus infection in China could lead to a second wave of the pandemic, stated a spokesperson for the country's Ministry of Health. Reuters reports this information.

Currently, there are 693 'imported' cases registered in China, according to the representative of the Ministry of Health.
