VIDEO: Administrative Violations Recorded Against 1407 Individuals
The police are continuing to enforce the restrictions on the free movement of individuals, aimed at preventing the possible spread of the new coronavirus, following the decision of the Prime Minister's office.
On March 27, from 9 AM to 6 PM, 470 individuals were reported for breaches of isolation or self-isolation rules or other restrictions on the right to free movement. After the Prime Minister's decision came into effect until 6 PM on March 27, administrative violation records were made against 1407 individuals, with 661 in the capital and 746 in the regions.
During the same time frame, traffic police officers discovered 422 vehicles in the republic with more than two individuals in them. After the Prime Minister's decision took effect until 6 PM on March 27, violations were noted in 1682 vehicles. All persons who violated the decision were removed from the vehicles.
We urge the public once again to strictly limit leaving their residences and to do so only in cases of extreme necessity. We also advise drivers to transport only one passenger while adhering to the requirements set forth in the Prime Minister's decision.
