The Governor Suspends Operations of Several Supermarkets for Six Hours

The Governor has issued a decision regarding restrictions imposed on a number of businesses. Governing by points 2, 6, and 7 of the Armenian Government's decision No. 298-N on declaring a state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia on March 16, 2020, and based on point 20 of the annex of that decision, considering the Governor's instruction No. Ց/17-2020 dated March 20, 2020, and decision No. 19 dated March 27, 2020, as well as the order No. 488-A dated March 24, 2020, issued by the head of the Health and Labor Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia, the following actions were taken:

1. The operations of the following branches (supermarkets) owned by specific managers were suspended for six hours: 1) “SITHI” LLC located at 24/7 building, Avan, Hovhannesyan street, Yerevan, and 46 Komitas avenue, Yerevan; 2) “SAS Group” LLC located at 20/1 Kazhaznuni street, Yerevan; 3) “Nor Zovk” LLC located at 113/4 Muratsan street, Yerevan.

2. The head of the Health and Labor Inspection Body of Armenia, Hakob Avagyan, has been instructed to inform the managers of these businesses regarding this decision.

3. The Chief of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, Arman Sargsyan, is charged with ensuring complete oversight of compliance with the requirements of point 1 of this decision.

4. This decision comes into force at the moment of publication.
