Video: Reserve Groups Established by Order of the Minister of Emergency Situations

As part of the fight against the coronavirus, a consultation has been held by the deputy head of the operational group established by the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Director of the Rescue Service, Major General Vrej Gabrielyan, with the heads of regional rescue departments. The department heads joined the consultation online, reporting on the current situation in the regions and the disinfection efforts carried out by fire-rescue teams.

All exercises will be postponed until May 1. The Director has instructed to implement daily shifts with maximum vigilance, ensuring that replacing teams do not come into contact with each other, as well as to conduct frequent temperature checks and disinfections.

The Director presented the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations according to which reserve groups have been created. If necessary, these groups will be involved in complex firefighting or responding to emergencies and domestic calls as additional forces.

Major General Vrej Gabrielyan emphasized that action plans are being developed for the worst-case scenarios of the spread of the virus, ensuring that citizens receive operational and effective services.
