Georgia Tightens Restrictions Due to Coronavirus
“The decisions and measures adopted by the government in recent weeks have been recognized by the World Health Organization, as well as by other organizations specialized in this field. Practice shows that an increase in coronavirus cases is anticipated in Georgia. Unfortunately, we have evidence that some of our fellow citizens are not complying with government decisions, which creates a greater threat for themselves and others,” stated Irakli Chikovani, an advisor to the Prime Minister of Georgia on international affairs.
According to his statement, although a state of emergency is not declared at this time, the restrictions will be tightened even further.
