61 Individuals Isolated from Echmiadzin’s School No. 4

Today, March 15, 61 individuals have been isolated from the Khachatur Abovian School No. 4 in Echmiadzin. This was reported to NEWS.am by the school principal, Arusyak Muradyan.

“All students in the class and 5 teachers who taught during the days the infected child attended have been isolated. One parent from each child has also been isolated, either the mother or father, along with their other minor children, as they refused to isolate without their children,” she said.

The principal indicated that there are 35 students in the class. One of them, a girl infected with the coronavirus, has been isolated for several days. Following that, another student who sat next to her was also isolated. “The child had a fever, was tested, and the result was negative,” the principal added.

It is noteworthy that to date, there have been 23 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Armenia, the majority of which are linked to the well-known engagement incident in Echmiadzin.
