"Joghavourd" Reports NSS Targets "Thieves by Law"
"Joghavourd" newspaper reports: On March 11, the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia announced that it had received evidence regarding the planned murders of citizens of the Republic of Armenia, illegal acquisition of firearms, and the systematic crossing of the state border using forged documents by a group of individuals.
The NSS disclosed that in June 2014, gunfire had been directed towards a targeted individual on Gyulbenkian Street in Yerevan, and now, six years later, it has become clear that this individual was Arsen Chichyan, known as Bodol. In an interview with "Joghavourd," Chichyan confirmed this information, stating, "Yes, it’s my case."
It should be noted that this sensational revelation is likely to unfold further, and it is not ruled out that the NSS may also hold "thieves by law" accountable in relation to the criminal case. There are reports that 41-year-old Artyom Sargsyan, better known as Artem of Saratov, along with other "thieves by law," may be summoned for questioning.
Of course, "Joghavourd" possesses several details regarding the criminal case, but due to concerns about obstructing the investigation, we will not disclose anything further at this time. We can only add that, according to our information, the NSS has identified a contract killer, who, however, remains at large. It is possible that the hired killer has provided the investigative body with necessary information, and as a result of that cooperation, has been released.
