Georgian Banks Postpone Loan Payments for 3 Months Due to Coronavirus

According to Aliq.ge, Georgia's largest banks, Bank of Georgia and TBC, are offering a three-month grace period to users due to the current situation in the country.

The Bank of Georgia has announced that, in light of the need to reduce the number of people gathering to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the bank will provide a three-month grace period for individual customers.

Starting today, users who were scheduled to make loan payments will have the opportunity to postpone their monthly payments until the end of May.

TBC Bank has also postponed loan payments for three months, offering a grace period to all individuals, micro, small, and medium-sized businesses, as well as borrowers from sectors such as tourism, food, and other industries.
