If There Is a Need Due to the Coronavirus, We Will Suspend the Campaign: Prime Minister

If there is a need, we will suspend the campaign. This was stated today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a conversation with journalists in Jermuk as part of the campaign.

In response to a question about whether citizens are being isolated in Ejmiatsin due to suspected coronavirus, suggesting that perhaps more people have been infected, Nikol Pashinyan said, “People, what kind of question is that? Don't ask such questions. If the number of people infected with the coronavirus is higher, the Government will be the first to announce it. At this moment, I have said what the issue is. If there is a greater risk, I will inform you about it.”

According to Pashinyan, efforts are being made to identify those who have been in contact with infected individuals, noting that some might be isolated at the “Golden Palace,” while others may be asked to self-isolate at home. “If there is a necessity to suspend, we will suspend. As long as we have not suspended, it means there is no necessity,” Pashinyan added.
