If I was part of the criminal underbelly, why did I fall at their feet? 'Vstrechi Apeer'

Aram Vardanyan, who continues to attract public interest and conversation around his name, has shared two responses with Asekose.am following police actions at his private residence and the subsequent media publications.

Your name is still the center of discussions. The police have released a statement, followed by your lawyers providing factual publications about the court's decision, and it remains unclear what the truth is. What do you have to say about this?

I won't talk about legal issues. That’s for the lawyers to handle, they know everything well. I will only say that if I am connected to the gunfire attributed to me, then, by just as much reason, I am connected to the buildings exploded in America.

Mr. Vardanyan, recently one of the Armenian media outlets had analyzed your persona, considering you a favorite of Serzh, who contaminates the atmosphere. I know, I am familiar with the publication, and I also know who owns the media outlet and who commissioned that nonsense. It makes me laugh because, unlike that person, I have never even met Serzh Sargsyan face to face in my life. And then, according to circulating rumors, when someone close to Sargsyan was opening fire at that commissioner’s brother’s backside, half an hour later, he was meeting up and saying, 'Good job, if you want to do it again, go ahead.'

This same person, who was rolling around at the feet of those he mentioned, a month ago in one of Yerevan's cafes, 'Martini', not caring that there were women and children around, was loudly swearing at Serzh Sargsyan on the phone. He was doing that to create an impression because five minutes after that swearing, he ran away when Sargsyan's son-in-law entered the same cafe. If he ran away in that way upon seeing the son-in-law, what would have happened if he saw Sargsyan face to face?

This same person, a few days after the revolution, upon seeing a governmental figure in Cascade restaurants, screams, 'Hey, tell Nikol he’s doing well, he’s doing what I said!' He’s just an empty person. Betrayal is his skin.

He's talking about ruining destinies. He has ruined so many destinies, chased people out of the country, taken everything away from them, this is still from those times. Moreover, if I was part of the criminal underbelly, why did I fall at their feet and beg my brother’s kids to help? I do not regret helping; I would do the same for the kids now. And that kind of person, who has no honor or shame, will sooner or later come to an end. One day, I will meet these kinds of figures face to face; life hasn’t come to an end yet.

Regarding my connections to the showbiz, I build my relationships based on different values compared to his monkey-like connections. For me, it doesn’t matter whether someone is from the showbiz, a worker, a musician, or a guard. To me, the person is the value, not the 'monkey.'
