Four Cases of Coronavirus Reported in Armenia: Ministry Calls for Calm

The spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, announced on her Facebook page: "After the announcement of 3 new cases of the novel coronavirus, misinformation has spread on the internet suggesting that 'three more individuals have been found to have the virus during testing.' This 'information' has also been reproduced by various media outlets.

Dear Facebook users, we urge the public not to create unnecessary panic and to be responsible in their communication. Currently, there are a total of 4 confirmed cases in Armenia, one of which was reported on March 1 and three on March 11. Please follow only official news sources."
