Tashir Acquires Armenia's Largest Energy Producer

One of the largest energy holdings in Russia, RusHydro, has announced the completion of a strategic deal in Armenia. The shares of the International Energy Company LLC have been purchased by the Razdan Energy Company, which is part of Tashir Group.

According to the agreement signed last December regarding the acquisition of the Sevan-Razdan HPP, Tashir has acquired 90% of the shares of the International Energy Company. The buyer has fully settled the loan obligations of the acquired company to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
