Armenians in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan Urged by Embassy to Stay in Contact
In light of the global risk posed by the spread of the coronavirus, the Embassy of Armenia in Kazakhstan has urged Armenian citizens to maintain regular communication with the diplomatic mission. The embassy made this announcement via its Facebook page.
"Considering the current situation regarding the rapid global spread of the new type of coronavirus, the Embassy of Armenia in Kazakhstan recommends keeping in constant contact with the embassy and urges Armenian citizens temporarily or permanently residing in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to send their information, including name, surname, residential address (region, city, street, building, apartment/house), and mobile number, to the embassy's email ([email protected]) for the purpose of maintaining communication," the announcement states.
Additionally, it is noted that providing such information does not impose any obligation. A hotline has been established with the phone number +7 778 229 18 81.
The embassy also requests that individuals follow the guidelines and recommendations of the Ministry of Health of Armenia or the authorities of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
It is worth mentioning that the Armenian ambassador accredited in Kazakhstan also fulfills the duties of the ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, with residence in Nur-Sultan.
