When the people stop trusting me, five minutes later, let it sound harsh, they will make me disappear. Prime Minister

Today’s final stop for the "Yes" campaign was in the Tegh community of Syunik province. In his speech here, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared that Tegh village is the last village of Armenia towards Artsakh and the first towards Armenia from Artsakh, hence it is considered a symbol of the unity between Armenia and Artsakh.

“Today, this symbolic meaning is highlighted even more, because there is also an election campaign in Artsakh. If this is campaigning for a referendum here, then there are presidential and parliamentary elections there, and I want to express hope that through these two electoral processes, the unity of the peoples of Armenia and Artsakh, our national unity, will be further strengthened,” said the Prime Minister.

He urged to exclude any divisions based on being from Artsakh, Syunik, or other place names. “If anyone speaks badly about an Artsakh resident, speaks badly about a person from Goris, or speaks badly about a Tegh resident, then I am that Artsakh resident, that Goris resident, that Tegh resident,” he added.

Speaking about his powers, Pashinyan noted that he remains prime minister because the people have allowed it. “The moment the people decide that I should not be prime minister, at that moment I will no longer be. The moment the people stop trusting me, five minutes later, let it sound harsh, they will make me disappear. The fact that I continue to be prime minister today is solely due to you. My premiership symbolizes that the people in Armenia have power,” emphasized Pashinyan.
