Approximately 500 People in Quarantine in Azerbaijan

On the evening of March 9, two new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Azerbaijan, according to Turan. The infected individuals are Azerbaijani citizens born in 1966 and 1978, who had recently returned from Iran.

The patients are currently hospitalized and are being kept under special conditions. Their health status is assessed as stable.

Thus, the total number of coronavirus cases in Azerbaijan has reached 11. One of the infected, a citizen born in 1938, remains in serious but stable condition.

On March 6, it was reported that approximately 500 people are currently in quarantine in Azerbaijan.
