Video: The Point System is Now Yielding Concrete Results, Says Prime Minister

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has addressed the effectiveness of the point system and the statistics of road traffic accidents on his Facebook page.

“I must state that the point system is now yielding concrete results. Specifically, the number of fatalities from road traffic accidents in the republic has decreased by 3 compared to the same time last year, and by 18 compared to 2018, despite the number of vehicles in Armenia increasing by several tens of thousands,” he noted.

“In Yerevan, as of March 6, 2019, the number of road traffic accidents has decreased by 38, the number of fatalities by 1, and the number of injuries by 84 compared to the same period last year,” stated Pashinyan.
