Tsarukyan Joked: Vardan Ghukasyan
“Now, for those who have contracted that virus, we cannot say that these people are not good.” This was stated today, on March 6, by Vardan Ghukasyan, a deputy from the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, referring to the statement made by BHK leader Gagik Tsarukyan that the coronavirus does not affect good people. Ghukasyan noted that Tsarukyan was joking.
Speaking about the legislative initiative to lower the age threshold for judges from 28 to 25, Ghukasyan said, “No matter how smart a 25-year-old is, no matter how many high honors they have graduated with, they need to have life experience. Age is very important because judges' decisions are connected to people's destinies, and it would be better if they waited a little longer.”
