Status Change Applied to the Killer Named Mher, Says Agajanyan
Elena Agajanyan, the sister of the murdered Yosef Agajanyan, made a post on her Facebook page regarding the change in prison regime for Mher Yenokyan.
“Dear relatives and friends, I watched Narek Malyan's live stream and learned that the prison regime of the murderer Mher Yenokyan has been changed from closed to semi-closed by the order of the Minister of Justice. To be honest, I do not fully understand legally what this means, but it is clear that a change in status has been applied to the despicable ‘human’ named Mher, leaning towards leniency.
This allows one to think that the murderer’s wife continues her longstanding efforts with even more zeal to secure freedom for her husband at any cost. Just a year ago, our family experienced deep psychological trauma, which individuals like the murderer and his wife continue to exacerbate, causing us immense pain and forcing us to go through all of it again and again. This situation is becoming unbearable, and aside from having lost a son, brother, and friend, we publicly go through this ordeal time and time again.
I have no reason to distrust everything Mr. Malyan has said, as all the information he has provided has not only remained unrefuted but has also been confirmed.
I am trying to understand what plan is being implemented and for what purpose: Are we to release cruel murderers from prisons while educated, literate, working, and tax-paying professionals are pushed out of this country? All of this will only weaken the Republic of Armenia.
I write this so that you all are aware of what is happening. I consider this yet another move by the despicable to grant freedom to a murderer,” wrote Elena Agajanyan.
