Charges Filed Against Nephew and Neighbor of 'Vstrechi Apeer'
Charges have been filed against Arman Vardanyan, the nephew of Aram Vardanyan, known by the nickname 'Vstrechi Apeer', as well as a resident living nearby. A request has been submitted to the court for their detention. This was reported to NEWS.am by Vardanyan's lawyer, Lusine Sahakyan.
Sahakyan stated that the nephew has been charged with kidnapping, while the other individual is charged with robbery.
It is noteworthy that on the night of March 4, around 2:40 AM, hundreds of police officers stormed the houses located at 17 Artsakh Street, belonging to Aram Vardanyan and his relatives. As a result of the actions taken, Aram Vardanyan's son and two other citizens were taken into custody, while two citizens were arrested, one being Vardanyan's nephew and the other being the neighbor.
Additionally, it was noted that the search of the house continued yesterday as well. Investigators presented the court's decision to conduct a search at Vardanyan's house to his lawyers, Yervand Varosyan and Lusine Sahakyan. According to the contents of the decision, they were searching for weapons and ammunition in Vardanyan's home; however, not finding similar items, they confiscated video recordings related to Vardanyan's personal life.
