Temperature Will Reach +20 to +24 Degrees: Gagik Surenyana
The head of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Hydrometeorology Service, Gagik Surenyana, announced on his Facebook page that, "Due to the influx of tropical warm air currents from northern Africa, from March 8-10, the air temperature across the entire territory of the Republic will gradually rise by another 4-5 degrees. The highest temperatures will be recorded on March 9-10 in the valleys of Syunik and Tavush, reaching +20 to +24 degrees, while in the Ararat Plain and Yerevan, the temperatures will be +20 to +21 degrees. If in the last three days the air temperature in the republic has been 4-6 degrees above climate norms, by March 9-10, it will exceed the norms by 8-10 degrees."
