After the government meeting, the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, responded to reporters regarding Prime Minister Pashinyan's statement that there are betrayers in the upper echelons of law enforcement agencies. When asked what is preventing the government from getting rid of these betrayers, Grigoryan replied: "If there was a need to name names, the Prime Minister would have talked about it. There are periodically cases within the system when steps that correspond to the demands of the revolution are not being taken. When these become evident, decisions are made. Practical steps are being taken, from reforms to decisions, through which, for example, there have been individuals who no longer work here."

When asked if he meant the recently dismissed NSS Director and Police Chief, Grigoryan did not specify any names.
