Deal to Lie on Asphalt and Take Photos Offered: 'Vstrechi Apeer'
Police offered Aram Vardanyan (Vstrechi Apeer) a deal, which he avoided, leading law enforcement to take drastic actions.
"I hadn’t been in the country for two months, and two months ago I gave an interview regarding the asphalt laying and the police chief being in a state of mental decline... and it became a specific issue for the police chief that something wasn't working out for them. Two months had passed since then when some 'X' person called me with the intention of offering a deal, saying, 'You know what, come to Armenia, we will agree, we will carry out that action, it will be good for you, and probably some specific people will get promotions,'" said Aram Vardanyan in an interview with Hraparak.am. He returned to Armenia on March 1.
"And when the time for the deal came, well, it’s clear, people who know me know that I wouldn't engage in a deal. I said, 'I tricked them, it didn’t work out for them, and from there began their mental decline, breaking into my house, harming my child, and so on,'" he added.
"The deal was supposed to create a situation that hadn’t worked out for them twice, that they would have me lie on the asphalt and take photos. But I tricked them and didn’t go through with the deal," he stated.

It should be noted that Aram Vardanyan's lawyers reported that around 02:40 last night, an attack by hundreds of police officers took place on the houses owned by Aram Vardanyan and his relatives at 17 Artsakh Street. Three individuals were taken from Vardanyan's home, and two others were arrested, one of whom is Vardanyan's nephew.
