Turkish Media Impressed by Armenia's Coronavirus Quarantine Model: Details
Turkish NTV television has highlighted Armenia's approach to isolating citizens suspected of coronavirus infection in a luxury hotel, reports RegionMonitor.
In an article titled “5-Star Quarantine in Armenia Against Coronavirus,” it is noted that, unlike some countries that discriminate against those suspected of carrying the virus, Armenia is employing a different method.
“While in some countries those suspected of being infected with coronavirus are even subjected to violence, Armenia, situated to the northeast of Turkey, is acting differently. After identifying a coronavirus case in a citizen who arrived from Iran, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan ordered that all individuals who had contact with the patient be placed in a 5-star hotel for quarantine. Their every need is being catered to,” the publication states.
The media outlet also published photos of the hotel rooms accompanying the article. The report also references a video shared by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan showing how isolated citizens are being served.
