An armed man has taken approximately 30 hostages at the V-Mall shopping center in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. According to The Straits Times, the incident occurred in one of the shopping centers. Before taking the hostages, the man opened fire. Reports indicate that there is at least one injury.
It has been noted that he is a former employee of the mall's security service. All of the hostages are employees of the shopping center.
