If Armenia Can Acquire a New Batch of Masks, They Will Be Expensive: Gegham Gevorgyan
At the moment, there are networks where masks do not exist, but the price has not increased. Small pharmacies are experiencing a rise in mask prices, and we are even receiving messages that masks are being sold on List.am, but those sales are not under our control. This was stated by the head of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC), Gegham Gevorgyan, during a conversation with journalists today.
He noted that efforts are being made to bring a new batch of masks to Armenia; however, it has been announced that there is a mask shortage. 'Our partners abroad have reported that the prices of masks have increased, meaning that if new batches can be acquired, they will be expensive,' he said, adding that the Ministry of Health has a stockpile of masks.
