Another Shooting in Vanadzor: 3 People Hospitalized
On February 29, another shooting took place in the Lori region. At approximately 8:20 PM, the police station in Vanadzor received a call reporting that three citizens had been transported to the hospital with bodily injuries, including gunshot wounds.
Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports that police and investigators have established that the injured individuals are residents of 4th Tavros Street in Vanadzor. The victims include 48-year-old Arthur Opyan, who was admitted to the hospital with "lacerated wounds to the top of the head and nape of the neck, and a fracture to the right wrist;" 26-year-old Edward Opyan, who went to the hospital with "a penetrating stab wound to the chest from the right;" and 24-year-old Spartak Derdzhan, a resident of Chukhajyan Street in Vanadzor, who was hospitalized with "multiple penetrating gunshot wounds to the head, chest, abdomen, and lower extremities."
At the scene, investigators discovered blood-like traces, a knife, an axe, and eight spent cartridges from a 12mm caliber firearm.
