UPDATED: Tbilisi Cancels Today's Flights to Yerevan

The Armenian Embassy in Georgia has released a statement, which notably states, "We inform you that the cancellation of the two flights from Tbilisi to Yerevan scheduled for today at 18:50 by 'Georgian Airways' and 'Armenia Aircompany' is exclusively related to changes in the schedules of these two airlines. According to the airlines, flights will resume tomorrow according to the timetable."

Georg Khachatryan, the deputy director of Armenia Aircompany, provided the following clarification: "To clarify the reports circulating in the media regarding the cancellation of the Tbilisi-Yerevan flight, I inform you that the aforementioned flight was canceled a month ago and is solely for commercial reasons."
