Azerbaijan to Conduct Large-Scale Military Exercises

Azerbaijan will hold large-scale command-staff military exercises starting on March 2. This was announced by the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.

“Under the leadership of Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, the exercises will be conducted using terrain, maps, and terrain models, with extensive application of information technologies, as well as specifying calculations and temporary indicators while verifying the implementation of decisions with relevant bodies,” the statement said.

During each phase of the exercises, important issues regarding the development of the situation will be closely studied, considering the increase in combat readiness, including information support, precise programming of modern means for the management of troops and weapons. The exercises will last until March 6.
