Two Cases of Sexual Violence and Illegal Separation from Parents Recorded in One Day
According to summaries of operational reports from the police, from February 27 to 28, the various units of the Police of the Republic of Armenia uncovered a total of 86 crimes, with 5 of them being previously committed.
Specifically, the breakdown includes 31 cases of theft of personal property, 9 cases of causing bodily harm, and 7 cases each of fraud and drug detection. There were also 4 cases of threats to kill and beatings, as well as 2 cases each of embezzlement or misappropriation, willful damage to property, confiscation of weapons and munitions, abuse of official authority, forgery of documents, drug smuggling, sexual violence, and illegal separation of a child from a parent. Additionally, there were 1 case each of illegal logging, drug trafficking, and official forgery or negligence.
In total, 2 individuals who were wanted were discovered, and 1 voluntarily surrendered. There were also 4 cases of voluntary surrender of weapons and munitions. Among the crimes that had previously been committed, police uncovered 3 cases of theft of personal property, and 1 case each of robbery and illegal logging.
In the past day, there were 10 traffic accidents recorded in the republic, which resulted in 14 people suffering from varying degrees of bodily injuries.
