Two Cases of Sexual Violence and Child Separation Recorded in One Day
According to summaries from the operational reports of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, from February 27 to 28, various departments of the police revealed a total of 86 criminal cases, out of which 5 were from previous incidents.
Specifically, the breakdown includes 31 cases of personal property theft, 9 cases of bodily harm, and 7 cases each of fraud and drug detection. There were also 4 cases each of threats to murder and beatings, along with 2 cases each of misappropriation or waste, intentional damage to property, confiscation of weapons and ammunition, abuse of official authority, forgery of documents, drug smuggling, sexual violence, and illegal separation of a child from a parent. Additionally, there was 1 case each of illegal logging, drug trafficking, and official forgery or negligence.
In this period, 2 wanted individuals were found and 1 voluntarily surrendered. There were also 4 voluntary handovers of firearms or ammunition. In terms of previously committed crimes, 3 cases of personal property theft and 1 case each of robbery and illegal logging were solved.
Over the past day, the country recorded 10 road traffic incidents, resulting in injuries of varying degrees to 14 people.
