Turkey Begins Large-Scale Military Operations in Syria: Arman Abovyan
Arman Abovyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia Party, wrote on his Facebook page: "It seems that very serious developments have started in Syria. During the night, Russian and Syrian military forces destroyed several dozen Turkish soldiers, and in response, Turkey is effectively starting large-scale military operations in Syria. Additionally, the Turks have called for urgent consultations with NATO member countries regarding the current situation.
Meanwhile, the Turkish military is already beginning a full-scale invasion into Syrian territory. The Russians have announced that they will continue to fight alongside the Syrians against pro-Turkish militants, and two Russian ships armed with 'Kalibr' missiles are urgently heading to Syria. Moreover, Erdogan has opened the borders to refugees heading towards Europe. This is, in fact, extremely dangerous in every regard, as it could lead to a direct Russo-Turkish war, which would inevitably have repercussions in our local region as well. In short, we must be very, very cautious."
