Pashinyan Meets CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received Stanislav Zas, the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), who is on a working visit to Armenia. The Prime Minister welcomed his visit to Yerevan and congratulated him once again on his appointment to this responsible position.

Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the CSTO in ensuring security in the region and added, “We must continue to make consistent efforts to enhance and strengthen the organization's effectiveness through our activities.” The head of government highlighted the need for close cooperation in addressing global challenges and expressed hope that solutions can be found for existing issues during Zas's tenure.

The CSTO Secretary General presented to the Prime Minister the upcoming programs and priorities within the organization, including conducting joint military exercises and collaborating with other international organizations.

The meeting also addressed the organization of events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as several other issues of international and regional significance.
