Kocharian, Sargsyan, and Manvel Grigoryan Deserve Their Title, Says Andranik Kocharian

Serzh Sargsyan has provided an irrelevant response to the accusations against him. This was stated today by Andranik Kocharian, the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly, during a conversation with reporters regarding Sargsyan's assertion that Artsakh will never be part of Azerbaijan.

“His accusation relates to the fuel issue, the testimony of Sergo Karapetyan, and the involvement of Barsegh Beglaryan in this illegal process. The current authorities have given such clear formulations regarding the issues of Artsakh and even named them the 'Munich Principles.' The Madrid Principles absolutely do not correspond to the viewpoints expressed by Serzh Sargsyan on that day,” he said.

In response to a comment that representatives of the authorities, by continuously speaking about Robert Kocharian, Serzh Sargsyan, Manvel Grigoryan, and others, weaken the army, Andranik Kocharian stated: “No one has questioned their title as heroes, speaking specifically of Manvel Grigoryan. They deserve their title of hero for having formed that security zone as a result of their heroism. Life has taken our heroes in different directions. Who is to blame for this? First and foremost, those who have deviated from their status as heroes; many have gone astray at crucial turns.”
