Iran's Parliament Suspends Sessions Due to Coronavirus
Iran's Parliament has suspended its operations due to the outbreak of COVID-19. This was reported by Asadollah Abbasi, a representative of the parliamentary leadership, on Iranian state television.
“Due to the spread of the coronavirus in the country, the presidency has decided to cancel parliamentary meetings,” Abbasi stated.
It has also been announced that China is ready to provide all possible forms of assistance and support to Iran in the fight against the coronavirus, according to a spokesperson from the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
