Armenian Government Independently Addresses Issues at Armenian-Azerbaijani Border: Stanislav Zas
If Armenia requests assistance from the CSTO, the organization will express its position and provide the necessary support. Today, during a conversation with journalists, CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas noted that the Armenian government is currently addressing issues regarding incidents at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border independently.
“We hope that the situation will remain stable and that clashes can be avoided,” he said. Referring to the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, Zas mentioned that it has always been at the center of the organization's attention. “We have developed an effective mechanism for informing other CSTO member countries about this issue on Armenia's part, and the issue is discussed during every summit with the participation of the leaders of the member states. If necessary, the CSTO will express its position regarding this issue,” stated the CSTO Secretary General.
