Arman Sargsyan Holds Consultation on Referendum

On February 28, a working consultation took place in the police department, chaired by the acting police chief Arman Sargsyan. Members of the police board, heads of central administration services, and regional divisions and territorial units participated in the meeting.

The main topic of the consultation was the campaign for the referendum scheduled for April 5 and the police operations on the day of the vote. Arman Sargsyan noted that an operational headquarters had been established in the police to ensure proper preparation and conduct of the referendum. The composition of the headquarters, working groups, and their functions were announced.

An emergency hotline will also be operational, with police officers fluent in several languages answering calls. Arman Sargsyan instructed to also involve members of the public council attached to the police in the efforts.

Police officers ensuring public order were instructed to operate exclusively within the framework of legality during the campaign and on referendum day, eliminating any legal violations and ensuring public order.

The police's operational services were tasked with monitoring the situation and responding promptly to all issues raised in the press and social networks, conducting thorough and objective investigations in each case. At the end of the consultation, Arman Sargsyan provided specific instructions and recommendations.
