Vanadzor Resident Steals Pensioner Father's Savings

On February 25, at 17:35, the Bazum Police Department received a report that money had been stolen from an apartment on Shinararner Street in Vanadzor.

The Information and Public Relations Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia informs that the 72-year-old resident has reported to the operational group that between January 2 at 17:30 and February 25 at 17:00, unknown individuals entered the apartment and stole $4,000 and 600,000 drams from under the mattress.

As a result of operational-search and investigative measures taken, the victim's 31-year-old daughter was detained on suspicion of committing the theft, and she has provided a confession. The investigation is ongoing.
