In Gegharkunik, 23-Year-Old Contracted Soldier Crashes Mercedes into Power Pole

On February 26, a major traffic accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 08:30, 23-year-old Arman P., a resident of the Gegharkunik region, lost control of his Mercedes vehicle with license plate AG 019 on the 80 km section of the Tsovagyugh-Shorja-Vardenis highway. Under still unknown circumstances, he veered off the road, collided with a wooden electrical pole, and ended up in a field.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, driver Arman P. was taken to the military hospital of the Gegharkunik garrison with bodily injuries. The impact caused the electrical pole to topple.

Sources indicate that driver Arman P. serves as a contracted soldier in military unit N of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
