Bako Sahakyan Held a Meeting on Coronavirus Prevention Efforts

President Bako Sahakyan convened a working meeting on February 27, dedicated to efforts aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus in the republic. This information was provided to Armenpress by the press office of the President of Artsakh.

Leaders from health care and other relevant sectors presented reports during the meeting, discussing the measures taken and planned to curb the spread of the virus in the republic.

President Sahakyan emphasized the importance of implementing all necessary measures in this regard and issued directives to the responsible representatives of the relevant bodies.

During the meeting, the country's leader also addressed the upcoming election campaign for the President and the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh. The President stressed that these elections hold extremely significant national importance and, like all previous elections, must be democratic, open, and transparent, in accordance with the letter and spirit of the law, held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and tolerance.

All state bodies must ensure that the elections are conducted at an appropriate level within their respective areas of responsibility.

Present at the meeting were the Prime Minister of Artsakh, Grigori Martirosyan, Secretary of the Security Council Arshavir Gharamyan, and other officials.
