Yerevan Zoo to Reopen Soon with Promised Surprises for Visitors

Starting February 28, the Yerevan Zoo will reopen its doors to visitors. This announcement was made via the zoo's Facebook page. The zoo will resume its normal operations.

“Our staff is doing everything possible to welcome visitors in a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment. We are looking forward to seeing you. We hope that each of you will help maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the zoo,” the statement reads.

In the near future, the zoo's team will introduce new, fresh, and exciting events to enhance the daily experience at the zoo. “Expect surprises,” the announcement continued.

The Yerevan Zoo had been closed since February 5 indefinitely. Previously, it was reported that one of the two camels housed at the zoo had died, and laboratory tests on the animal revealed the presence of tuberculosis bacteria. “As a result, the necessity for preventive measures has arisen,” the statement added.
