Video: Passenger Throws Gun Out of Car During Detention

The police continue to take measures to uncover illegal weapons and ammunition. On February 24, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Vagharshapat Police received operational information that illegal weaponry was present in the car driven by a 27-year-old resident of Nalbandyan village.

The vehicle came under the scrutiny of criminal investigators at the intersection of Kamo and Shahumyan streets in Ejmiadzin. The driver and a 25-year-old passenger from Ejmiadzin were suspiciously detained by the Vagharshapat police.

During the detention, the passenger threw a gun out of the vehicle. The firearm was retrieved during the examination of the crime scene and sent to the police forensic department for ballistic examination. According to the 25-year-old, the gun is his.
