Car Accident on Yerevan-Meghri Road: Injuries Reported
On February 25, at 23:34, the National Crisis Management Center of Armenia received a call regarding a car accident on the Surenavan-Yeraskh highway, with casualties reported.
A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that on the 60th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri road, a "Mercedes" (driver: Khajak H., born in 1986) collided with an "Opel" (driver: Surik A., born in 1966).
Rescuers extricated the drivers from the vehicles. The injured were hospitalized at Ararat Medical Center. Their health condition has been assessed as satisfactory.
The rescuers disconnected the vehicles' power and closed the gas cylinder valves.
