Yerevan's Pyunik Signs New Football Player
The Yerevan football club Pyunik has a new addition to its roster. This was announced by the club's press service.
Pyunik has signed a contract with 30-year-old Russian midfielder Dmitri Malyaka. Malyaka is a product of Moscow's Spartak academy, and his most recent club was the Belarusian Gomel.
The Armenian football championship is set to resume on February 28, with Lori currently leading the top-tier league table with 28 points. Ararat-Armenia, Alashkert, and Ararat follow closely, each with 27 points. Shirak sits in fifth place with 25 points, while Noah has 24 points. Pyunik currently has 20 points, Urartu has 17, and Gandzasar-Kapan has 14 points. Yerevan remains without any points.
